    This deeply restorative class is designed to support stress relief and nervous system balance. Through restorative postures, slow mindful movement, breath awareness, and extended rest, we create the conditions for the body to shift out of “doing” and into deep relaxation.

    The practice emphasizes calming the nervous system, supporting the parasympathetic response, and releasing accumulated tension from both body and mind. Class includes gentle transitions, longer holds, guided imagery, and an extended relaxation (yoga nidra) to help restore energy, improve sleep, and cultivate a sense of ease and grounded calm.

    This class is rooted in classical yoga—a powerful ancient practice that emphasizes self-awareness, inner reflection, and heart-centered living. Through the use of precise kriyas (sets of exercises/ movement), pranayama (breathwork), chanting (sound vibration), and active meditation, we engage the body, mind, and spirit as one.

    Together, these practices support alignment of the whole person and invite a deeper connection to the heart. The class gently works with Kundalini energy—a dormant energy waiting to be awakened—encouraging clarity, vitality, and the unfolding of your authentic self.

    Classical Hatha Yoga | Breath • Strength • Awareness

    Rhythm of the Heart is a gentle, classical yoga practice rooted in yoga for health consciousness, designed to slow down, create space, and strengthen your relationship with the heart—physically, energetically, and emotionally. Drawing from traditional yoga wisdom, the practices support awareness of the heart as a source of joy, compassion, and inner wisdom.

    This is not a flow-style class. The practice moves at a slower, intentional pace, emphasizing therapeutic breathing to support healthy breath patterns, along with movement and light strengthening. Time is given to explore each practice mindfully, cultivating a deeper connection between breath, body, and heart.

    This class is well-suited for those seeking a thoughtful, accessible practice that supports overall well-being and heart-centered awareness.

  • We offer community yoga mats and blankets for your use. You are welcome to bring your own mat or props.

  • Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of class.

    For everyone’s safety and to preserve a calm, uninterrupted experience, doors will be locked at the scheduled class start time, and late entry is not permitted.

  • We have a few parking spots available out front. Additional on-street parking is also available nearby.

  • You’ll enter into a welcoming reception area.

    Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga space.

    Cubby storage for personal belongings is provided inside the yoga room.

    • Classes are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and supportive, with options always offered

    • You’re encouraged to move at your own pace and rest when needed

    • Phones should be silenced and stored during class

    • If you have injuries, health concerns, or questions, please let the instructor know before class begins

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours prior to your booked session using the link in your email confirmation. Cancellations made within this timeframe will receive a credit applied to a future session. Due to some classes being in high demand, cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice are subject to the owner’s discretion, and a class credit or coupon may not be issued.
